Quick Biography
After completing her school education she headed to the Edniburgh Festival in Scotland to get started in acting. She originally planned on becoming a classical actress, but her big break came when she appeared in the Armstrong and Miller comedy sketch show. Since then she has become best known as a comedy actress, appearing in shows like Green Wing, Teachers (on NBC) and movies like Stardust.

Just the edited highlights mind you, I could fill a whole book with the unedited version, plus no-one will ever see that infamous shot of me from college covered in baby oil....
From top left to bottom right:
1.1979 - In Stoke Mandeville Hospital aged 18 months, after having my finger bitten off. Note large bandage on arm.
2.2001 - Impersonating Mark Knopfler after cooking a massive dinner for 12 people and getting quite drunk.
3.1996 - Last day in our 2 up 2 down in Blackpool. We'd been watching "Men Behaving Badly" on telly, and they'd started putting cushions on their heads. Monkey see, Monkey do.
4.1989 - Gang show. Don't I look sweet. I had a short solo to sing in the second act, and every night without fail my voice would break all the way through it.
5.2001 - Duxford, in the cockpit of a rebuilt, fully flyable Spitfire Mark IX. I want one.
6.1998 - Assisting Iain McKell, and threatening him with a sword. It may not have been an idle threat.
7.2000 - Dave's Farewell meal from our first flat in London. Don't I look chuffed.
8.1993 - 2nd day of work experience at the Local Paper and I end up modelling, then being published the day after, much to the amusement of my mates at school.
9.2005 - Trying out <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/1256872666/\">Paul's</a> new sleeping bag, and gaining several chins in the process.
10.2006 - At <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/1256020501/\">Rachel's</a> fancy dress party as Neo, trying to do my own version of bullet time.
11.2005 - Taking my navigation duties seriously in the Lake District, whilst away to my left 3 mates (including <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/1256872666/\">Paul</a>) are gallivanting around naked in a waterfall. Idiots.
12.1995 - The first ever sandwich shot. Started something of a trend between me and <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/363555865/\">Simon</a>, and almost every time since, when we've been up in the hills we've taken shots of each other eating sandwiches. 13.1993 - Northants Evening Telegraph. By now I was no longer there "officially" on organised work experience, but like a bad smell I refused to go away, and would spend much of my holidays hanging around, doing little jobs for them, and pulling funny faces where necessary.
14.1994 - Austria. There was not enough hot water in the youth hostel for us all to have hot baths, and the shower had broken, so every night we took it in turns to go first. This was not my lucky night, as you can tell from the colour of the water. Both my mates Adrian and <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/363560998/\">Jim</a> had been in it before me.
15.2000 - London. After a very long shoot and very little food the beer went to my head rather. For quite some time afterwards I believed the hand with the pint glass in was actually mine. On closer inspection it would appear that either I've tanned a lot on just my hand, or it belongs to Pat.
16.2000 - London. Taken from 2 polaroids, 1 of my head, and 1 of the body of <a href=\"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Alexander\">Sarah Alexander</a>, and expertly merged by my good friend <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/1256108271/\">Andrew</a>. Quite scary.
17.1996 - Kettering. Working at the local paper over Christmas whilst home from college, and on leaving work 1 day I heard the cry of distressed animal. There was a dog trapped on the other side of a flooded river, and he was caught up in a massive thorn bush. I returned to work to get some help, and instead got a photographer and a journalist who proceeded to make story out of it. It was a quiet week for news that Christmas. After about an hour of cutting through thorn bushes whilst standing up to my waist in ice-cold water I eventually pulled the bugger free.
18.2005 - London. At <a href=\"http://www.flickr.com/photos/photosmudger/1256875870/\">Nicola's</a>30th Birthday party, wearing a wig. Obviously.
